Unmasking Creativity: Process and Product
August 24 - October 22, 2011
The Art Gallery, Sturgis Library
The Georgia Art Education Association 2011 Member Exhibition
Although creativity is a multidimensional, multifaceted complex of ideas, the inspiration
and illumination for artworks is often found in the mundane and the ordinary. The
works chosen for Unmasking Creativity: Process and Product were evaluated not only
for their aesthetic production, but also for the explanation of their creative process.
Providing a glimpse into what motivated the artist’s choices offers the viewer a deeper
understanding of the work.
