Rachel's Killin' It
June 27 - July 26, 2015
Zuckerman Museum of Art | East Galleries
A guest project presented by Dashboard
Beth Malone & Courtney Hammond, Co-curators
This exhibition highlights five years of the Atlanta-based organization through a
bold curatorial exploration of empathy, awareness, and growth in the arts community.
With an introspective nod to the past and an eye to the future, the exhibition features
eight artists whose work reflects the daring risks taken both in their own practice
and in their effort to actively support others in the art community.
Rachel's Killin' it, titled after a restaurant server who impressed the curatorial team during a recent brainstorming session, encourages visitors to appreciate and empathize with the hard work and dedication of others, both those who work in the spotlight and behind-the-scenes.
Artists: Ben Wolf, Lee Deigaard, Nikita Gale, Mike Stansy, Melanie Manos, Mike Black, Osman, and Nate Sharratt
