Southern Graphics Council International Print Collection

The Southern Graphics Council International (SGC International), one of the largest and most significant printmaking organizations in America, selected the Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art (ZMA) at Kennesaw State University to house its permanent collection in 2013. This original gift expanded the ZMA’s collection to over 6,000 works of art and continues to add approximately 800 more prints every year following their annual conference.

The SGC International collection at the ZMA features prints and works on paper created by notable national and international artists along with records and archives from the organization’s conferences, workshops, and related programs. The ZMA’s permanent collection will continue to grow as it acquires future works from the SGC International’s annual conference hosted every spring.

If you have any questions or would like to request an appointment to view any works in this collection, please contact the registrar at (470) 578-4912.

The Southern Graphics Council International records are held by the KSU Archives. A portion of those documents and images are available online at For more information about the SCGI organizational records collection please contact
