    I was born in Athens, Georgia and received a BFA in drawing and painting from the University of Georgia, a MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a PhD in art history from the University of Georgia.

    I grew up in Camden County, Georgia and received a BFA in Printmaking & Sculpture from the Atlanta College of Art. I went on to receive a M.A. in Curatorial Studies from the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College (CCS Bard).

    I hail from the southwestern city of Tucson, Arizona, and received two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in music, and the other in art history from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.

    I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Florida International University. During my senior year, I interned at the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum for the Collections and Registration Department which sparked my passion to care for museum collections.
