Tiffany Sanchez

Website: @tiffanysanchezart (Instagram)

  • Tiffany Sanchez is a contemporary painter who uses traditional materials to create horror-based work that forces her audience to confront their own fears. Her usage of thick and expressive brush strokes allows her to use color to obscure the perception of familiar, yet unnerving subjects. Her style periodically combines aspects of realism and impression to create works that are unsettling and disturbing in order to unbalance the audience and compel them to confront themselves. Tiffany’s work often references old master paintings depicting spiritual elements as inspiration and uses her Catholic upbringing to her advantage by using their teachings as subject matter. She is currently studying Fine Arts at Kennesaw State University’s School of Art and Design and continues to explore and expand on her startling work.
