Undergraduate Degrees
The School of Art and Design (SOAAD) offers students challenging and exciting undergraduate
degrees including the B.F.A. in Art and the B.F.A. in Digital Animation. The school
has unique concentration areas of study in Illustration, and Sequential Art for the
B.F.A. in Art. We hope that you will explore our many options and consider studying
with us at the School of Art and Design at Kennesaw State University, located in the
northern metropolitan Atlanta area. The School of Art and Design is accredited by
the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.

Art, B.F.A.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Art (B.F.A.) is a professional degree program.
The degree prepares students for a variety of art and art-related careers or graduate
school by providing a thorough grounding in fundamental principles and techniques
with opportunities for emphasis in one or more arts areas. This degree focuses on
intensive work in art or design supported by a program of general studies.

Digital Animation, B.F.A.
