Welcome to the KSU String Project!
About the String Project
The Kennesaw State University String Project is an initiative that began in the Fall of 2012. The program, sponsored by the KSU School of Music, provides an opportunity for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to receive instruction on the violin, viola, or cello. If your child would like to learn a stringed instrument (violin, viola, or cello) please take advantage of this excellent opportunity! There are two levels of classes offered, based upon student experience.
Prelude Strings Prelude Strings is intended for beginning students with no prior experience necessary! In class we will teach students everything they need to know about playing their instrument, including care, music reading, and making a beautiful sound!
Allegro Strings is a class for students who have participated for one year in the KSU String Project or have equivalent experience in private lessons or other group instruction.
Please contact us should you have any questions or concerns.
It will be a pleasure working with your child and providing a quality experience!
