Chamber Music Header

The Kennesaw State University Chamber Music Program trains musicians in classical and contemporary chamber repertoire. Student ensembles receive regular faculty coachings from the School of Music's talented string, woodwind, and brass faculty and have opportunities to perform in masterclasses with visiting guest artists and ensembles. Student chamber groups perform a variety of repertoire on- and off-campus throughout the year.

Mixed Chamber Ensembles

Each semester, several Mixed Chamber Ensemble group form as past of a small ensemble course and receive instruction from faculty members throughout the semester. Mixed Chamber Ensembles student groups perform a final concert at the end of each semester featuring selections from a various composers.

Trumpet Ensemble

The KSU Trumpet Ensemble consists of members of the School of Music trumpet studio under the direction of Doug Lindsey, KSU Lecturer of Trumpet. The KSU Trumpet Ensemble performs a wide range of repertoire including traditional brass choir pieces, brass arrangements, and new works.
