June: Rialto Dance Series partnership started to host professional dance companies

January: Bachelor of Arts in Dance started at KSU

April: University System of Georgia Board of Regents approves B.A. in Dance

April: Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center partnership Synergy started to promote educational outreach

May: National American College Dance Festival (1st National Selection) featuring INCUBUS with choreography by Ivan Pulinkala; scenery by Ming Chen; and performed at the Miller Theatre, NYC

August: Friends of Dance Board started at KSU 


2007

July: Atlanta Ballet summer program hosted at KSU

July: KSU Dance Company performs with the Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus Misbehavin'

January: Recreation Center dance studio opens
