  • Dance Summer Intensive

    Dates: June 3-7, 2024
    Time: 8:30am-4:30pm

    The KSU Summer Dance Intensive offers high school students and rising KSU freshmen the opportunity to experience technical and artistic growth in dance in an environment that fosters creativity and learning.

    Intermediate to advanced level dance students will study with KSU Dance faculty and experience a variety of dance classes, such as Modern, Ballet, African, Jazz, Tap, Improvisation, and Musical Theater, Dance Filmmaking, and more!

    Faculty will stage choreographic repertory that will be performed by the students in a concert at the end of the intensive. The Department of Dance at KSU also offers incentive scholarships every year to outstanding high school seniors who attend the intensive.

    The cost of the summer dance intensive is $325 and includes lunch each day. Deadline for Summer Intensive registration is May 1, 2024, or until filled. Please register early as space is limited.

    The KSU Summer Dance Intensive offers an overnight add-on option for high school students and rising KSU freshmen who want the opportunity to experience technical and artistic growth in dance in an environment that fosters creativity and learning.
    The overnight add-on is $370 and includes your meal plan for each day. Please note: this Add-on to stay on campus overnight is optional, and does not include your summer intensive registration of $325. Deadline for overnight add-on registration is March 1, 2024, or until filled. Please register early as space is limited.
