Summer DANCE Intensive - June 3-7, 2019

The KSU Summer Dance Intensive offers a non-residential program for high school students who want the opportunity to experience technical and artistic growth in an environment that fosters creativity and learning. Students will study with dance professors at KSU, and experience classes in modern, ballet, African, jazz, tap, dance history and kinesiology. Faculty will stage choreographic repertory that will be performed by the students in a concert at the end of the intensive. The Department of Dance at KSU also offers incentive scholarships every year to outstanding high school seniors who attend the intensive.

Cost of the intensive: $295 and includes lunch in the nationally recognized KSU Dining Commons, Monday-Friday. The intensive runs 8:30am-4:30pm each day.

Application deadline: May 31, 2019
