The KSU Summer Art Intensive offers a one-week, non-residential program for high school students interested in the visual arts. Students will explore a variety of media such as ceramics, mixed media, drawing, painting, animation and book arts/printmaking with KSU faculty and students. The intensive is designed to help students further develop their skills and creativity, and strengthen their portfolios. A pin-up show at the end of the week will highlight student work. The School of Art & Design also offers incentive scholarships every year to outstanding students who attend the intensive.

The intensive is open to rising 9th-12th grade students and college freshmen.
Cost of the intensive: Only $295 and includes lunch in the nationally recognized KSU Dining Commons, Monday-Friday.
