This summer unite your roles as an artist and a teacher. Leading by Example is an opportunity to exhibit your artwork!
The Bernard A. Zuckerman Musem of Art and School of Art & Design at Kennesaw State University have paired up to present a juried exhibition just for art educators.
Any art teacher working with students who are 18 and under is eligible to submit artwork for consideration. This includes traditional and non-traditional K-12 teachers, community center educators, Pre-K teachers, and teaching artists.
All artistic media are welcome!

Notification of Decisions:
No later than May 14, 2018.
Selected artwork will be displayed in the ZMA’s Fine Arts Gallery from June 5 - July 26, 2018. We will celebrate with a reception and announce Jurors’ Choice awards on Tuesday, June 5th from 6 - 8 pm.

Juror: Donna Krueger is the founder of dk Gallery, a trend-setting, contemporary fine art space on the Marietta Square that represents over 30 artists. Donna has a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, and started the gallery in 2008 after a successful career in advertising. In 2011 and 2013, The Atlantan named dk Gallery as a top 20 Scene Stealer changing the conversation in the art scene in Atlanta. In 2012, Krueger was named a Points North Top 10 Savvy & Successful Woman. In 2015, she partcipated in the Art Leaders of Metro Atlanta program and was named a Woman of Power & Influence by The Atlantan.
