Welcome to the Bailey School of Music at Kennesaw State University! Part of KSU’s thriving College of the Arts, the School is comprised of outstanding students, faculty and staff who are committed to creating a dynamic and welcoming community of musicians and scholars.

The Bailey School of Music offers all the advantages of a large public university, the myriad arts and cultural opportunities and partnerships afforded by the metro Atlanta area, and an unparalleled commitment to student-centered, personalized instruction. We are an all-Steinway school, and our beautiful Dr. Bobbie Bailey and Family Performance Center is a regional hub for an incredible variety of musical performances and other arts events. Our ArtsKSU performance series brings the world to your doorstep, and our students enjoy opportunities for engagement with faculty and world-renowned guest artists at the highest level, both in the classroom and on the performance stage.

National Association of Schools of Music (NASM)

Kennesaw State University is an accredited member institution of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). The Bailey School of Music at KSU offers the Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with concentrations in instrumental, choral and general music education, as well as Bachelor of Music degrees with concentrations in Music Performance, Music Theory and Music Composition.

Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Facilities

The Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center is the primary performance venue for the Kennesaw State University Bailey School of Music and is among the many fine facilities of the College of the Arts at KSU. Located within the Bailey Performance Center are several world-class spaces: Morgan Concert Hall, Katherine Scott Rehearsal Hall, the Mortin Art Gallery, and the neighboring Zuckerman Museum of Art. Each year, the Bailey Performance Center hosts over 100 performances and other public events in addition to rehearsals, seminars, recording sessions, and masterclasses year-round.
